IDE Nepal and Nepal SIMI are undertaking a comprehensive program to document our interventions, project and program impacts, VIP visits, and training activities. This effort will include developing comprehensive libraries of photographs, videos (of different types), and documents utilizing photographs and videos. It will also include systems to generate, store, and retrieve needed electronic and hard copies. It will also include plans and systems to integrate photographs and videos in our project documents, websites, PowerPoint's, proposals and promotional activities, and the efforts of IDE HQ to document and promote our activities. It will also provide inputs for the improvement of IDE training programs integrating audio-visuals for TOT and direct training programs. The program will be implemented intensively over the next year to establish a base and systems that can be regularly maintained into the future. It will be linked to the needs of the SIMI, RPI, EIG-CM, and other projects.
IDE, WI, and partner project staff of all different levels and types will be involved and assisting the effort. The initiative will be guided by the IDE Country Director / SIMI TL (Luke Colavito) with implementation led by IDE Documentation, Volunteer (Bimala R. Colavito).
